Cons: I had been waiting a shuttle but to Routes at Toronto airpot for 1 hour after I called the service phone asked them to pick me up. At last , I found a shuttle bus, the driver just sent other customers to airport, he picked me up and said that no one told him there is a customer waiting.

Cons: Staff were not helpful. No solution or refund was offered when they told me I wasn't able to get the car I booked. The car had a tiny piece of plastic sticking out at the front which can be seen in the pictures that were taken but the staff accused me of doing it before confirming the pictures. I asked for transport back to the airport and waited for over 20min to be then told I had to wait another 15min even though the transport car was parked outside.

Pros: They were great! Price was easily the best we saw for a week rental. Clear instruction on where to meet shuttle. Car was ready to go and check out was painless. No issues during the rental and drop off. Staff were all very friendly. Highly recommend them.

Pros: Just make sure you have the correct excess insurance paperwork on hand with you showing the policy number and excess details and also take pictures of the car to show any damage on the day of rental. With all the information, pickup was a breeze from the rental agency. Actual vehicle was fairly new and fun to drive.

Cons: There was only one agent serving and so expect some delay in picking up the car. My pickup time was 20:00 pm and even then there was a long lineup.

Cons: I was left standing at the airport for 25 minutes after calling for a pick up. When I got to the office, it was more issues with ID and then my insurance. I rent a car in Toronto every summer and have never experienced this kind of service. I will not be renting with them again.

Pros: I travel for work extensively and when in Toronto I have rented from this location a number of times before and every time service is amazing , staff are very accommodating and nice. I rent a car in Toronto about 30 weeks out of the year if not more, and I rather go to this place then anywhere else in the city.

Cons: Only thing that I can say it needs improving is the cleanliness of the cars. Garbage left in the console and under the seats, dirty floors and mats, lots of dust and dirt on the surfaces and seats. However, I have seen far worse than this at other rental places and few that keep more clean. This however, in no way can take away from the superb service I get at this place, nor can it deter me from going back there. Their staff are amazing.

Cons: They not accepting non-embossed credit cards. Even though their machines are capable of getting digital authorization, they want to be selective in their customer's getting authorization. They accepted the non-embossed credit card of one customer and declined for me. Also, they don't accept American Express and have not mentioned that anywhere in their conditions. It was painful the first time especially coming from India where non-embossed credit cards are more prevalent.

Cons: I didn't get to rent the Car, despite pre-paying and paying for the insurance in full. They refused to accept my Irish Visa Card to pay for the additional deposit. So I left empty handed. Cons: I found the staff were unprofessional, with less knowledge on what is the offer and what is as per their policy. Car was not cleaned and they said this is how our cars used to be. The staffs do not bother to take a note of the inspection while handing over the car. I found lot of glitch and unprofessional behavior. After handing over the car, inspection, i received a call after 5 hours, if the car key is with me.

I understand that it may have been my overlooking as ALL MAJOR RENTAL COMPANIES IN TORONTO let me rent with a G2 licence. It is quite disappointing that Routes has not caught up with modern times or any of their competition. I called the company, wouldn't give me my $47 prepayment back even though I explained the circumstances. Called multiple times, could not speak to a manager

Cons: I had tremendous difficulty finding both the Toronto location on Nashua Dr. and the Ottawa location on Leitrim Rd. The 1st location (pick up): no big deal. The 2nd location: very big deal, as I was trying to get to a flight. Location was ridiculously hard to find. I misread the address (easy to do) as being IN Ottawa Int'l Airport. But then, how to get to the Leitrim Rd. location from the airport? Easy, right? Wrong. GPS will lead you to a road closed (Adastra Rd.) with a locked gate!

Cons: I left my scarf in the car- rang up and very unhelpful girl said they hadn’t found anything despite my call being within an hour and I said I’d pick it up! So disappointed! Also lack of knowledge on types of car when I asked a question by female member of staff as I wanted to hire a car at Xmas. Staff were efficient but seemed very rushed.

Cons: First of all they tried to give us a mid-size SUV instead of the full-size SUV we'd paid for. Then when the vehicle finally did arrive it was dirty inside (coke bottles on the floor). It also took a long time to do the paperwork and actually get the keys.

Pros: The Rental was Amazing! They gave me a JEEP WRANGLER RUBICON fully loaded! Just to make me feel happier for the same price as small corolla or kia. The Jeep was brand new and it had been routinely inspected as I could see on the routes car sticker. I highly recommend this place. The whole experience was great. Will use again for sure. I got a shuttle to and from Toronto Pearson which was like a 5 or 6 minute drive away. Such convenience. It was the best experience I have had of travelling.
