Schiller is a car rental company based in Budapest, the beautiful capital of Hungary and one of the most visited cities in Europe. The company has offices in both the Ferenc Liszt Airport, the main port of entry for international visitors to the city, and in downtown Budapest.
Schiller enjoys a very strong reputation among its customers, making it one of the most highly-rated companies operating in Hungary. It receives especially high marks for the cleanliness and technological condition of its vehicles, and for how little time is spent when dropping off a vehicle at the end of a trip. The company won our Excellent Car Rental Service Award in both 2023 and 2024 for both its locations.
Schiller allows customers to take their vehicles to most countries that neighbor Hungary including Slovakia, Austria, Czechia, Serbia, Slovenia, Croatia, and Romania. It charges an additional fee, which is higher for Serbia as it’s not in the EU.
