Pros: quick drop off

Cons: The agent didnt let me check the car for damages. She just handed the key to me with the car being parked 5 minutes away. The car was dirty and the air pressure in the tyres was low. Though the fuel tank was full I had to fill up with ad blue as it was running low and I did not want to be stuck out in the middle of nowhere.

Cons: The drop off office staff at the PMO airport are so impolite. They do not have any service standard. When I went drop off the car, there was no one come to check the car. I went into office and asked if anyone can do the checking . The first car still asked me impolitely if I was there to pick up car - and I obviously had the key in my hand. they didn’t want to come out at all. Just told me to give them the key. It’s the sneaky way of this company staff! Now I do worry if they trick

Pros: I came at 13.30 and not at 12.00 a.m as I shuld be to the agency, and the agency was close because they were at siesta... So I came again at 15.00 when they open the sgency and the lady there told me that I am late by 2 hours. I asking tou: What should do if the agency is close? I think she raise a stupid clain againts me...

Pros: The car was new and better than the one we ordered, for the same rate.

Cons: We had to wait for one hour (in September) to pick up the car, many clients in the same time ... The final price was not what was first decided : extra charge for second driver and very expensive insurance proposed (we did not take it) - that was not mentionned on the Internet website of Sicily By Car. We paid about 100 € more than expected, so next time we go somewhere else.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1098.00 - € 1708.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Winterization fee.
Mileage policy
For rentals of 1–26 days, mileage is unlimited.
For rentals lasting 27 to 45 days, mileage is limited to 2500 km per month. Mileage is limited, there will be a surcharge for each additional km.
Details are available at the car rental company's reservation office.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in Latin alphabet.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): EU.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
To rent the following vehicle category(ies): Luxury, Premium, Special, you must provide the following document(s) at pickup: return flight ticket, flight information, local address (apartment; hotel; villa; etc.), 2 phone numbers (1 of which is landline), 2 credit cards.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
A deposit will be charged if one of the following cards is used: Visa debit card, MasterCard debit card.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Snow chains, Express Service.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

During the winter season (15.11 to 15.04), Snow chains, Winter tires may be mandatory on certain roads in the following locations: Northern Italy, Central Italy, Southern Italy, Italy Islands. For more information please contact the car rental provider.

It is allowed to add up to 3 additional drivers.
Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
For electric vehicles: the customer will receive the vehicle totally charged, and it is NOT necessary to return it with a full charge.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 45 days.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
In order to have service out of hours, the renter must provide the following information: Phone number, Flight number.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 0 minutes.
