Pros: They provided me with a car

Cons: They did not have an automatic ready, despite being booked. So I was offered the choice of an "upgrade" to a higher spec manual or a wait whilst they found an automatic. As it was already late I took the manual. Regretted it almost immediately.

Pros: Very friendly check in people. Helped us work the controls of the vehicle and very efficient.

Cons: I think car hire should include excess waiver insurance as standard, so I don't like the fact that by buying my own insurance separately, that £2000 is blocked out on my credit card. It feels a bit of a scam to me.
