Pros: The clerk at the counter was very nice and helped as much as possible in upgrading the car.

Cons: There were almost no representatives of Sixt in the parking lot. The trunk of the car did not open and we waited a long time for the representative. When we found a representative she was impatient because she was probably rushing to another client. In the end we managed but it was a bit disappointing.

Pros: Car pick up and return were quick.

Cons: Car was provided with limited user profile which blocked access to radio and bluetooth among few other things. During our 13 days rental period SIXT was unable to solve this problem. Also "similar" car SIXT gave us had much smaller trunk than original model, so we barely managed to fit all luggage.

Cons: They surprised me when the category which i choose was not available, they gave me a new car but I paid extra for it. The Insurance also they took extra money for it because the one on your website is not full 100%. Premier cars are not allowed to visit East Europe countries for Example ( Slovakia , Hungary ) but on your website it’s mentioned that it’s allowed. So we canceled all our bookings to these countries at the costumer service desk.

Pros: The representative at the Munich Terminal was knowledgeable and able to help advise customer on the coverage requirment to better suit our needs. Also he was very efficient on the processes and even provided me a upgrade. Love the services from Sixt. Car conditions was also pristine and return was a ease at Munich Terminal. If I go back to Munich, I will definitely look for Sixt and nothing else. Loved everything that Sixt provides.

Cons: Long queues. The representative was unhelpful, seeking on multiple occasions to charge me extra, including for arriving more than 1h after arrival time I specified, and upselling a GPS for me, even though I asked if the car had one (she told me it didn't, but it did). The car was very dirty. I was sent on another floor to collect a car seat, but no one was there to help (so I ended up having to pick one up myself).

Pros: Overall Sixt is a very good rental companies. But, it's branch in munich so bad. We'r not happy whit this rental. Because our car is not clean. Sixt garage persons is not here. And we were late.

Cons: it's really bad. Because car is not clean, Overall Condition of the car is not good enough. it's brake not good. It had more scratches and dents from a list given to us. We expect responsible garage.There was no one to deliver the car. We waited 30 minutes. Nobody came. We had to leave the car there. However, the delivery receipt does not come to us.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 1500 km per rental, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: € 1100.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
All non-EU residents staying in the EU for longer than 6 months must present a driving licence from an EU country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Ski rack, Snow chains, Winter tires, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners, JCB, Discover.
The following payment methods are accepted: Airplus.
All credit cards must be capable of the CHIP and PIN verification; cards without this capability will not be accepted.

Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company.
Information on the exact fee amount is available by request. Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain-Mainland, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Gibraltar, San Marino.
crossing country borders is forbidden for certain car groups. Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Ski rack, Snow chains, Winter tires, Cross border fee.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

During winter season (from 01.11 until 31.03) Winter tires are included in price.
Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, the renter may purchase a tank full of fuel at the time of rental and return the tank empty.
In no case will a refund be given for unused fuel.
Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
For electric vehicles: the customer will receive the vehicle totally charged, and it is NOT necessary to return it with a full charge.
Additional information
Winter tires are mandatory in icy/snowy conditions from 01.11 to 31.03.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
