The Sixt branch is located in front of the International Airport Daniel Oduber of Liberia (Route 21). Please do not follow the signs leading you to "rent a car". Please leave the baggage reclaim area through the main exit and look out for our welcome agent, who will be waiting with a board sign with your name, according to your flight information, in order to bring you to your Sixt vehicle. Pros: When our flight was delayed they reached out to see if we still and when we needed the car. They opened a line of communication and it was easy to reach them if needed. The car was great - easy to maneuver and we appreciated the 4x4 when exploring the national park. Customer service picking up and dropping off was great!

Pros: The entire process was quick and smooth. As long as you have that creditcard ready. Also be prepared for additional and mandatory insurance. Security deposit will be taken from your card but as long as no damage to the car when you return it, you'll get your money back no problem.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: ~€ 760.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 21.
There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 75.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
If the duration of your stay in Costa Rica is longer than 3 months, a driver license issued in Costa Rica is required.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: American Express, Diners, Discover, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.

All credit cards must be capable of the following: PIN verification; cards without this capability will not be accepted.

Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
