Pros: This time I liked nothing. I know Sixt is a good place to rent, but something is wrong in Dominican Republic branch
Cons: Car condition was the worst ever. Heavily fixed car, mostly repainted, steering and transmission were faulty. Delivered with 5/8 of fuel to be returned the same, obviously expecting to forget or return it with more fuel. Driving in DR is already difficult, with this car was double the hassle. Had great experience with Sixt in the past but seems they're not doing quality control in Dominican Republic. Had to demand the return of the credit card voucher they made me sign on blank.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1420.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 25 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
For vehicles in groups Standard a driver license valid for at least 4 years is required.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information.

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.

At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
