Cons: Hello, first I would like to receive a refund for the insurance paid through you. It turns out that the coverage was very low for the car and I had to purchase a broader insurance through SIXT. In addition, you must not give the option of renting an electric car - I did not have the option to charge in the Netherlands because I do not have a local charging card as an Israeli citizen in Europe and I had to cut short my trip with the car and every day look for charging hours at a very high cost! Cons: I booked a car from volvo, the reservation was confirmed, and the kilometer was deducted. The receipt was at Amsterdam airport. The plane landed at 6:30. The airport was crowded and my bag was missing. It was delayed until about 8:30. The employee surprised me. Almost all the specs and I paid extra!!!!!! What is my fault that I should have booked the car and it was not too late!!!!!!!

Pros: Everything was perfect, apart from the issue we had with the desk agent.

Cons: The agent was unable to charge my credit card for the deposit, and therefore informed me I cannot rent the car until I contact my bank back in my country. As it was a weekend, this issue could have been a major issue for me to obtain the car. After I requested her to try and charge me again from another counter, she succeeded and provided me with the car.

Cons: they charged us for diesel and then credited it. The car had an issue and it took time to resolve. they tried to tell us we should have been charged for snow tires when we never asked for them. Eventually got 50% of rental and diesel surcharge credited. Took 3 days for car tech issue to be resolved so we couldn't drive and were stranded in Spain.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: € 1100.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses from non-EU countries (except Switzerland) are accepted if no visa has been entered in the passport.
All non-EU residents staying in the EU for longer than 6 months must present a driving licence from an EU country.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
Learner's permits are not accepted; a full driver's license is required.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Winter tires, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners, JCB, Discover, Airplus.
All credit cards must be capable of the following: PIN verification; cards without this capability will not be accepted.
Cash, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.

Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Norway, Portugal, Spain-Mainland, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Gibraltar, San Marino. crossing country borders is forbidden for certain car groups.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Cross border fee.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Netherlands.
The use of snow chains is not allowed on public roads.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
