Pros: As a first time solo driver in a foreign country, this was the best experience to put me at ease! Timmy (sp?) was very friendly, helpful and calm … because I was very excited but super nervous. He assured me that I would be ok, people take solo road-trips to Lofoten all the time and that he believes that I can do it! Trust me I needed to hear it ha! I had the best time driving around Lofoten and would recommend Sixt at EVES anytime. Also, they changed the car settings to English.
Cons: To make the review well rounded, maybe it was information forgotten in all my excitement and nervousness but the gas situation in this part of Norway for foreigners needs explaining. Thankfully I’m very chatty and asked a waitress that is also a foreigner…she explained it to me. I was able to purchase gas twice without any further issues. A great product offering could be a gas card, I would buy it! Locals had no idea what I was talking about, which makes me believe it is a foreign bank thing.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 860.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications, State Tax.
Rate excludes
An E-toll charge will apply; personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 23.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
For vehicles in groups Premium a driver license issued at least 5 years ago is required.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, together with the original license, must be presented.
In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
