Pros: Fairly flexible. Provided another similar vehicle but meant we weren’t given the upgrade we had been told we would have.
Cons: Given a motor vehicle with a screen chip with 3 cracks covered by a screen patch to prevent it from allegedly cracking further. The patch was right in the middle of the driver’s visibility. Totally unacceptable to give out a rental car with a cracked screen, let alone with the crack right in the middle of the drivers visibility. Any bump in the road had the potential to further crack the screen at which the cost is on the renter. As a driver it would be hugely dangerous and of constant concern.

Pros: Sixt were very helpful it was discovery that were the issue
Cons: They helped resolve the issue but it cost me a substantial amount extra and so for this issue I would not use you again

An International Driving Permit is required (in addition to your regular driver license) if the national driver license is not written in the following language(s): English.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, together with the original license, must be presented.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit or debit card on a main driver's name, booking voucher.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.

At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.

When using the following payment method(s): debit card, the Security Deposit amount will double.
