Pros: On pickup we received different model, the first car wasn’t with full fuel tank and with one wheel missing air. We need to change car.
Cons: We received the car with big chip in the forward window, when we the drop the car they found another small chip. We drove only on highways and didn’t experience any stone that hit the window. We are now 2 days after drop off date and still haven’t received the deposit.
Pros: Bad service charged us twice and couldn't find the charge to credit!!!! We spent there for hours trying to set all mess they did. Also charged anormous amount for second driver without declaring about it
Cons: Didn't helped and was very unpatiance for the problem they made
Cons: The agent had no clue about what I had paid for in advance. She could not explain the charges correctly. What I had paid for in advance she did not include in the rental agreement.
Pros: Actually it was First Car Rental that we dealt with. Representatives were polite, professional, but when it was clear that we did not book directly with First, they seemed to change their interest.
Cons: It seemed because we did not book directly with them, but went through Discover Car, they were not interested in us. Our paper work reflected a P/U Monday, Sept 26, 2022 at 9:00 AM. We called & notify we were running late. 11:00 AM local time we P/U the car and they started the time at 9:00 AM, Not 11:00 AM. Next, the first car they gave us had a terrible front vibration. They said to return to the airport and they would change out the car, that took 1.5 hours. 4 hrs into the lease at AP
Pros: From start to finish the service was excellent Brand new car couldn’t fault anything
Rental Conditions
Please check the Rental Conditions for each vehicle prior to booking as some conditions, particularly the deposit and deductible, may vary based on the class of vehicle.
The following surcharges may apply: Premium Location surcharge.
The following mandatory surcharge(s) will be applied: Rental contract fee.
A Young driver fee is not applied.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
An International Driving Permit is required (in addition to your regular driver license) if the national driver license is not written in the following language(s): English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the International Driving Permit treaty, an official translation of the license must be presented with the original license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Toll pass / E-toll device, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, Eurocard, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
Visa Electron, Cash, Cheques, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.
All credit cards must be capable of the CHIP and PIN verification; cards without this capability will not be accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Written permission from the rental company is required.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Eswatini.
The Standard, Luxury, Premium, Fullsize car group(s) may not be used for crossing country borders rentals.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.
Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
