Snap
Snap is a car rental company in New Zealand that was founded in 2013 with the goal of making the car rental experience simply better. The company, which is locally owned and operated, has six branches across the country including Auckland, Christchurch, Queenstown, Wellington, and Nelson Airports. In 2023, it rebranded from Snap Rentals to simply Snap and updated its visual identity.
Snap is a sponsor of multiple local sports teams including the Silver Ferns (New Zealand's national netball team) and the One NZ Warriors rugby team. The company receives high ratings from customers who have booked vehicles with them through DiscoverCars.com and won our 2024 Excellent Car Rental Service Award for many of its locations.
Snap operates electric shuttles at its three biggest locations that take customers from the airport terminal to their rental offices on-demand throughout the day without any extra emissions.
