Specific Rent at Lisbon Airport

Pros: They come to pick you up at the airport and will drive you back once you have returned your car at the end of the trip. Friendly people, good and clean car, very satisfied all around!

Pros: Specific was very responsive on the phone. There was an accident on the bridge , so we were almost too late for our plane, but the person from Specific picked us up very quickly and brought us to the airport. Really great!

Cons: Service was great, but the car had a real bad smell. We found out that probably a (wet) dog has been transported in the car.

Pros: This has to be one of the most caring considerate car rental companies in Lisbon. They have endless amounts of integrity and care more about the clients requirements rather than there own. There are is only Specific and 2 others i would choose to deal with in Lisboa but as i go through a broker it is not always possible to do that every-time i require a rental. Gentlemen please keep up the great work you have worked so hard to achieve. I love dealing with you all hence the 100% score.

Pros: The agent who met us was friendly and efficient. The vehicle was adequate for what we needed. Upon returning to Lisbon, the car company came and picked up the car from our airport hotel. That was wonderful.

Pros: Our pickup and drop off times were within the hours of operation, so for our rental is we easy and no extra fees. They were fast and efficient at getting us into the car and on our way.

Cons: Guy showed up overwhelmingly smelling of booze, tobacco and was dishevelled. Very sleazy looking and wanted to do the deal on a side bench, he wanted all kinds of deposits and switched to a much lower class car for more money. We refused the bad deal…

Cons: Regarding petrol I mentioned that the car wasn't full and he said that it would be ok What he didn't tell that he put cross on the full tank So I wasn't happy as they charged me extra €15 when I did go to the petrol station before I gave them the car I could have put it on I rent cars for over 25yrs abs never had this problem before so wasn't impressed with this company

Cons: No office ..hanging around waiting for rep both when picking up and dropping off car .... no diesel in it ..no add blue in it ..no spare wheel in it ... service light on and also low in oil.... a complete joke of a company ...

Cons: Car was dirty and service was overdue. This is a safety concern. Hidden additional charges on collecting the car. Did not answer the phone when we called on arrival at the pick up point. Late and did not even apologise.Avoid Specific Rent at all costs!

Cons: No one was waiting upon arrival had to call multiple times, very long process to get the car. Ordered a car seat for my son that they refused to install and was completely unusable. The straps were all tangled and the locking mechanism did not work. Had a tire lose pressure on the highway because it had so many punctures in the wheel. Replaced immediately with a spare and then on drop off was forced to pay for the tire because it was “no longer usable”. Absolutely the worst I have ever used.

Cons: The car was delivered 2 hours late which caused major problems for us. There was no transponder which we had not been informed of. The car had less than 1/4 tank of gas. No windshield washer fluid in the reservoir. When we returned the car, the agent we spoke to have us the wrong return location causing another 30 min wait.

Cons: The plane was late in and the car was late being delivered to the airport by about 45 mins - 1 hr

Pros: Very good and very reliable company with experienced staff and Mr Bruno was very helpful and a good gentleman kept his word for all the extras with no charge at all.

Pros: Overall the car was in good condition but it wasn't washed. Windows and outer body weren't cleaned as other rental cars. However they were very friendly and professional

Cons: Directions to go to the "meeting spot" were not specific enough. As an international traveler with a delayed flight we worried how we would find our agent...who ended up finding us. Bruno, he was awesome!!

Pros: The guy that fascilitated our rental was very personable and easy to talk with in both Portuguese and english.

Cons: I have no negative service comments, only that we had difficulties finding the guy once we got out of the gate.
