Steppe Cars
Despite its name perhaps invoking the endless grasslands of Eurasia, Steppe Cars, in fact, operates in a very different environment, namely, the tropical island nation of Seychelles. Geographically a part of Africa and located in the western part of the Indian Ocean, Seychelles is a very popular travel destination for beach lovers from all over the planet.
The company, which is extremely highly rated by its customers, serves the Praslin Airport on the small island of the same name and also has a notable presence on the larger island of Mahé. On the latter, it won our Excellent Car Rental Service Award in both 2023 and 2024 for both Mahe Port and Seychelles International Airport.
The two islands on which Steppe offers rental cars are the only two islands on the archipelago where you can rent cars. On the other islands, you have to get around either by foot, by bike, or perhaps with a golf cart.
