Surprice at Pisa Airport

Pros: Practically new car for rental

Cons: Really hard sell of full insurance policies for all customers even though some had already bought the insurance

Pros: Absolute nothing! Best part was getting away from the company and refusing to pay any more money and hiring a car with Hertz instead.

Cons: Everything -no shuttle bus at airport despite waiting an hour -no one answered phone despite calling again and again for 1 hour - had to walk from airport to find the company rental office - staff were rude and unapologetic -demanded an extra €300 for penalties on arrival - wanted a deposit of €1100 Absolutely horrific experience. We decided to lose our deposit and not rent a car with them

Pros: The drop off was easy.

Cons: Long waiting time. The car we had ordered was not available because we missed our pick up time because of a delayed flight. We got a dirty car with 1/2 tank of gas.

Pros: Nothing. Very poor service. Waited almost 2 hours in direct sun for a shuttle bus but the van that came refused to take us to the rental hire. I phoned. No reply. We had to get a taxi which I would like reimbursed for. 10€

Cons: Their service was poor. Waited almost 2 hours in direct sun waiting for shuttle which never came. Following a taxi fare to get to the rental hire, I waited a further 2 hours to pick up the car. No urgency from staff to provide a better service. I was Charged £500 more for the car which I had to pay as I had arrived in Pisa before MN the night before and I needed to get to my accommodation. I would like some form of compensation re poor service, no shuttle service and over charging

Pros: The car was fuel efficient

Cons: The wrong address was printed on our booking. When I got there nobody could tell me where to go. I called your support line and they told me to call SurPrice, who did not answer any of my calls (About 10 calls over an hour period). When I got there I had to wait 20 minutes to get to the front of the line and spent 40 minutes at the desk waiting for my car. When I finally got my car it was not the car that I had booked. Most importantly I was hit with 350 "insurance" fee. I have more to say.....

Cons: Huge bill was added due to not having the right credit card

Pros: Drop off was the only thing pleasant about our experience with this company.

Cons: The place is not in the airport and the shuttle was hard to find. Everyone that worked there was rude and used scare tactics to get you to get their insurance even though you had coverage. They take a $1200 deposit and threaten to charge you $500 per scratch. The money you save with their prices isn’t worth the hassle. They are also not open all day so if you have an early flight you there are no options for you.

Cons: Everything really bad experience staff terrible waiting time terrible, staff trying to get money out of you really unfriendly and took 4 hours to actually get the car, car was not clean no water and short on petrol which staff denied. Do not trust this company.

Pros: After a few min conversation regards the issue with the name on credit card providing certificate of marriage we did get car. It was the decision of one of the members guess it was the manager.

Cons: Some of the staff attitude towards their customers would definitely be an area of improvement. The way they spoken did not felt they run a decent bussiness.

Cons: Autoone: - there was a bus shuttle but it was extremely hard to find. There were no signs at all. - insisting try to sell their own insurance - the car had already a minor crash which was later tried to be put on our fault - they kept the deposit for 4 weeks and released only after my contact. The final receipt was not clear.

Pros: We did arrive 5 hours late (arriving at 03.00 in the night) and wanted to pickup the car next day when they open (8.00)- "surprice" wanted a fee of 200 euros for this "late" pickup. We did cancel the rental with a loss of 100 euro.

Pros: Nothing - I walked away and had to hire a car from another more reputable company

Cons: Met with unreasonable extra charges Issues include: - Fine for not having international drivers licence, yet not required - Fine for late car collection, however bus collection instructions were not accurate, company didn't answer telephone and slow queue at desk - Heavy pressure selling tactics for additional insurance, which according to booking were not mandatory

Pros: Nothing- scam , you should take this company of your booking site

Cons: Car dirty inside & out. Completely overcharged for the insurance on the car. Very pushy representative, going to make formal complaint about the insurance charge.

Cons: THIEVES! I did not receive my 900 euro deposit back, even if at the check-out not a single remark was reported by the rental agency (I have the document as a proof). They do not answer to my email and phones from 1 month.

Pros: Nothing. Worst service of my life. Took 2 hours to pick up the car and there was only about 4-5 people ahead of me. That it was cheap was about the only thing I can say was worth it but service-wise, nothing good.

Cons: Literally the worst car rental place I have every used. Do not recommend. They try to sell you insurance and then threaten that you will have to pay £300 minimum if there is even so much as a scratch on the car when you return it. Very dodgy feeling. Incredibly slow service.

Pros: Returning the car was straightforward and the member of staff was friendly and professional.

Cons: Collecting the car was a terrible experience, the member of staff was incredibly pushy in trying to sell us additional insurance (we had already bought insurance online) and I repeatedly stated that I was happy with the cover and didn't want to pay for more, but he went through his sales routine three times. He then added 57 euros to the price. I challenged this, because I had an email stating that there was 243 euros to pay, but he insisted it was 300 euros because of 'taxes'. I had to pay.

Cons: After initially getting on the wrong shuttle bus we eventually arrived at Surprice at just before 10am which was our collection time. However there was only one young man on the Surprice desk and he was dealing with booking out and returning cars, and there was quite a queue. We had to endure a 1 1/2 hour wait before we eventually got our car. He also tried the hard sell regarding additional insurance even though we had yours.

Cons: I never got an e-mail from Surprice with instructions for the car drop-off, support help on road if needed, etc . The car rental agents were rude, impolite…Never experienced such behavior with car rental agents before.I waited half an hour for the car drop-off while I was the only person at the premises. I dropped off the car 4 days ago. I am still waiting them to unblock my credit card for the insurance deposit since I returned the car in the same condition as it was picked up!

Pros: Nothing, horrific and would steer clear

Cons: The company I went with were horrific. Not simple and bullied into spending over £200 to cover myself. Very confusing at check in and took nearly 1 hour.

Pros: Actually nothing except the guy that was taking the car from us after the rental. Very nice and funny dude.

Cons: The price at the spot was 4 times higher that i saw on the Discover Cars. We were pursued to pay 330 instead of 80 euro. Never goint to use this company called Surprice. Terrible experience.

Cons: The car outside was not clean, had to wait for about 45 minutes the company desk clarified that insured conditions via discovery cars were not covering a number of potential damage. At the end have spend almost same amount of money as renting directly to a known company.

Pros: Absolutly nothing is likable from this company. When you booked a car, you get the story of a brooker and that they don't accept the conditons of a brooker. You have to pay 900 euro's more to rent a car! We denied and rejected te terms which left us without a car.

Pros: Nothing - they are awful

Pros: They were nice and polite, gave an uppgrade when the booked automatic transmission was not awailable

Cons: The car was 35000 km past its requiered service. And I had to refill adblue to prevent the car from beeing unusable

Cons: Time it took to process our application. There was only one person who had to process paperwork, check in returning cars and deal with any issues.

Cons: 1.You guys need to hire more staff. One person to check people in and accept rental returns is not sufficient. 2. UK government website says an international driving permit is not required with a UK driving licence. I didn't need an international permit last year with you, why now? Who is right?

Cons: Spent nearly an hour picking up the car, massive queues and generally really slow service. We got to the front of the line and told that the car we had booked (an automatic) was not available, at this point we had no choice but to go ahead with the rental. Shambolic

Pros: The representative accomodated our late arrival

Cons: I got the car one day after the planned date,  since  the representative agency did not accepted our original  driver license, requiring the international one.  My  husband issue the international driver's license and we called earlier the next day to say that we would get the car. Because I did reserve the car and not my husband, I had to have the international license, but they would do an exception if we purchase the additional insurance, even after showing them we have the full coverage.

Pros: Nothing.

Cons: The hard sell tactics pushing me to buy their insurance despite the fact I already had it. I blame myself for being fooled and not resisting them out of fear of being charged for some spurious scratch following drop off. I saw other customers when I was dropping off looking very uncomfortable, but feared saying anything in case they take money off my credit card or sell my personal details on the dark web. A very discomforting experience in a foreign country.

Cons: People seemed confused as to where to pick up the shuttle bus from P2. I am always having to direct them.and reassure them that they are in right place. Signage should be used. I tried using a Google pin for it, but Google won't let me.

Cons: Office is a 10-minute walk from airport terminal, and there was a small queue. But fine overall.

Cons: Shuttle point was difficult to find and not well sign posted on arrival. There was no fluid in screenwash.

Pros: Good all round experience as sometimes hire companies lack this

Cons: Unclear where to go to be picked up by minibus to take you to the company and had to ask a couple of people, then stumbled across the minibus turning up and lucky to be the right one. Suppose this doesn't help with all the work going on around the carparks.

Cons: Having to wait in a queue for quite a while to speak to someone.

Cons: Absolutely hopeless directions on the meeting point for the pick-up transit, with no signage at the airport. Just a vague, "Go to car park 5"' The check-in took 45 minutes, as I had to complete all the info that I had already given on the booking doc.

Pros: The car was really NEW (27 km at all)!!!

Cons: The timeout spent for take the reserved car (more transfer one hour). The fact that they DIDN'T inform me at all that

Cons: We’ve been trying to contact Auto one regarding them charging us for insurance that we didn’t need as you provided it to us. They haven’t replied to any of our emails ( we’ve sent 5 ) and unable to get through to customer service via phone to refund the balance of €300+ even though we raise our complaint 2 minutes after they charged us.

Pros: Everything was graet

Cons: We were waiting a little long initially for service.
