Surprice at Tirana Airport

Cons: Firma e in afara curții aeroportului. A trebuit să schimbăm mașina, deoarece nu ii funcționa aerul condiționat. Firma ne-a arătat încă 3 mașini, dar și acestea aveau aceeași problema, deși cei de la SURPRICE susțineau că funcționează și ne mințeau în față, încercând să ne convingă că funcționează, deși era evident că funcționa doar ventilatorul. După o oră de discuții în contradictoriu, am luat o mașină care era predată de alți clienți, dar care avea apă la picioare, la scaunele din spate.

Pros: Friendly agent served us on arrival.

Cons: There was a mix up on the rental. They assigned a car that was not in their lot. Time wasted looking for a car that wasn’t there. A new car was assigned which had a check engine light permanently on and had more than 150K Kms on the clock. After a few days of driving that car the car started smoking from engine compartment on steep inclines. Had to change that car for another car that ran fine. In returning the replacement car, the agents were confused with their own paperwork.

Pros: People in the office were nice enough

Cons: The office was difficult to find and no indication was given as to where it was in the terminal. In fact it wasn't in the terminal. People handling the cars (picking up and returns) were so rude.. they were smirking and laughing and wouldn't let me the car because I was a woman traveling alone. The car was a rust bucket from the 80s with no electric windows.

Pros: I have to appreciate very good comminucation during rent time with agent - name Milot. He gave me needed answers to my questions or notes to car.

Cons: It's not as I don't like but would be nice for the future to accept debet cards too. Due to my mistake (in term of condition it was writte - credit cards needed) we hade to pay deposit by cash.

Pros: They tried to be quicker on check out which we appreciated

Cons: Location isn’t easy to get to or find. All cars lights were on and writing still on windows. Someone had to empty packets full of rubbish from their car

Pros: Nothing. They were trying to overcharge everyone as the flight was delayed so charged them a penalty and also were overcharging on the additional driver. The cars were sub standard.

Cons: No one in the office at the airport and no transfer bus arrived so we had to walk. We had to wait to be served. They tried to charge us extra for the additional driver, even though we already had a set price from Discover cars. The car had a cigarette burn and a tear in the seats and had done 170,000 miles! The engine light on the dashboard was indicating amber to show a problem. We queried this and asked for a different car but they said no. We would never use them again

Cons: Insurance papers were outdated

Pros: Que me dieran sillita para el bebe pero tuve que volver al dia siguiente a por una mas pequeña

Cons: El tiempo de la gestion en la recogida, no lo recomendaria si llevas prisa.

Pros: Easy drop off

Cons: Horrible customer service. No effort to remedy problems with the car. We were told to fix the car ourselves by the office lady, which we found unprofessional and rude.

Pros: Cheap and car had good engine. One of employees near terminal on AirPort to show people where is the office.

Cons: People in the office were a bit grumpy, multiple warning control signs were lighting in the car, but it ran well.

Pros: Great customer service

Pros: They have good price.

Cons: But they have bad baby seat. Car doesn’t brake well. It takes a lot of time during lending.

Pros: Car overall in a good condition, reliable, I had no problems. Low price.

Pros: Thank you for being very flexible and helpful and I dropped the car

Pros: Car with several damages, special under the engine and pwheels protectio plastics..

Cons: The office is outside the terminal and you have to made 400m to rich the real office rental.

Cons: AVOID! Surprice are scammers! They charged hidden extra charges when I arrived. I've used Discover Cars many times to find rental cars with no issues until Surprice. They're also holding our deposit funds for a month (!) before releasing. I'll never use Surprice again and have told everyone I know to avoid.

Pros: They where polite

Cons: it was far from the airport, you had to go around (10min walk) to find the office and then again walk 2-3min to get to the car

Cons: See my explanation above. Not only were they rude and scammed us 150€, but they also gave us a car in dangerous conditions

Cons: Given the overall bad condition of the car that I got (instead of the Volkswagen), and how old it was, its almost impressive that it didn't fell apart. Have probably not been cleaned with more than with a vacuum cleaner the last year. Never felt more ripped off.

Pros: We have different opinion about it. But when we took the car the scream car says ( problems with the wheels) they dont answer when we call them about the conditions about them. After 3 days we punch the wheel, they dont answer again. And the last day they want me to charge 300 hundred for the wheel. At the end i would think that they understood that they did it wrong giving a cars with bad wheels ( maybe is where they make the bussiness because of the kind of roads that they have in Albania)

Cons: So i has to explain a lot of times and crying and praying for not charge me more money when the cara it wasnt right. So they gave me the money back to me by card ( actually i never recive it yet). So thats my situation right now.

Pros: Efficiency and service. No problem with the deposit.

Cons: Negative issues: The car itself. In very bad conditions. Gear problems mainly. And dirty.

Cons: Inability to provide car with the specifications that were booked. This was not acceptable.

Cons: The car was in very bad condition. It had 139000Km, almost no oil. At the second day I had to buy oil not to seize the engine. The car key was so old, it didn't had the button to close. The trunk cover was from some other car so it didn't fit, When i pick up the car i didn't notice everything but I asked to change it. They said there was no other car available and needed a car...

Pros: The dropping off staff was professional and I spent only a couple of minutes.

Cons: The car was dirty. The agent who handed us the car provided a dirty vehicle and performed an inaccurate checklist, deliberately avoiding noting the existing damages on the car.

Pros: Cleaned and everything worked properly

Pros: Trip to Albania - really good and easy experience. Would use again

Cons: Taking more money what a already paid saying I didn't have a credit card already paid for the full insurance online, definitely not using them again.

Pros: not a single thing

Cons: We got a dirty car, with broken tire. People at the desks tried to force additional insurance on us. Staff wasn’t friendly at all, since the start until very end. We got a very small barely seen scratch that they’ve charged us €270 (thankfully we had the car fully covered). It took ages to prepare all the documents by the staff member who also said that the car was dirty and we should’ve cleaned it! This is not what people pay for, especially that we got dirty car as well! Avoid at all costs!

Pros: Welcoming and friendly staff. Excellent condition of the car. Clear and precise instructions for pick-up and drop-off.

Pros: I didn’t like any thing . The agent was rude and also complained we hadn’t cleaned it , even though it wasn’t clean when we picked it up

Cons: It was not rented to us with a full tank of petrol as was stated. One line below full. Upon return we pointed this out and showed pictures but no money returned

Cons: The company made its best possible to get me their comprehensive insurance rather than Discover Car's.

Pros: Minimal. Hard to track someone down. Tried to charge us extras and then even though we agreed on a faulty wheel hub cap they then charged us on drop off! Ridiculous. Missing rear light, issues with the warning lights on pick up and no rear back wiper which made reversing a challenge.

Cons: I ordedrd vw transporter and got very old Renault trafic with 250,000km. The ac was just in the front and the all the back benches were hotttt.

Cons: The rental procedure is too long. There is a lot of paperwork and manual inputs with pen by the agent. I would like to note that Surprice car has blocked 1050 EUR deposit on my credit card, instead of 650 EUR which was stated on the voucher. Their statement was that they need to add 400 EUR of deductable deposit on top of these 650 EUR. Please clarify this with the rent-a-car agency so this is clear in the future.

Pros: Surprice rental agents were friendly, fast and efficient. Both Endri at check in and Rea at check out were helpful, fast and efficient.

Cons: The service was good, but the car could have been better, it seemed to have winter tyres, which deflated when stationary on the sun, and I had to inflate them twice.

Cons: The person wasn’t at the airport when we arrived despite us calling them from Belgrade to update them on our delayed arrival. The pick up process took too long as a result. The car wasn’t the one that we requested but was a like a model which was fine. The car wasn’t clean at all on the inside with rubbish and stains. The tyres were too bald for my liking, especially on slippery winter roads. We also had to get air put in them.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Zero flexibility, absolutely not costumer oriented company,with incompetent workers.

Pros: Horrible. They gave us a malfunctioning car then tried to keep the deposit. Total crooks!
