Pros: I was happy with the price, and once I had located the place to pick up and return the car everything was straightforward.

Cons: I was unable to locate where to pick up my car because I had flown to Bari the night before and was staying in a hotel near the airport. Nothing on the information I received told me where the office was located. Noone answered the phone number on the booking information OR the number to ring for the shuttle bus from the airport. The only address on the booking information was Via Saverio Milella, which is a street about 2 km long, but neither the office or the car pick up place is there.

When providing both cars no one took the time to review their condition and upon returning it they said that there's a new damage which was not true.

Cons: Car dirty (sand inside). Over 1 hr wait on pick up. Didn't abide by the T&Cs I signed with Discovery, and returned to resolve (another 1 hr wait). No reply to phone call for shuttle bus for 45min. No address for us to go there ourselves. Not helpful.

Cons: They should pick me up at the airport at agreed time. They didn't. I waited for 1,5h with two babies and wife. Nobody answered the phone. Once they did and people laughing in background... Than we found the adress the shuttle should take us and it was wrong adress. I ended up paying 60 eur for taxi and the deposit of 60 eur on discover cars. I never got the car. I heard same stories from a yr least 15 groups on our flight. NEVER choose the car rental Surprise / Autoone.

Pros: It was the worst car rental experience I’ve had. It took 10 tries in order to reach the driver to get picked up. Then we get to a place that’s in the middle of nowhere, the address didn’t match the confirmation sent by discover cars. After waiting 45mins in line it took us another 45mins for them to tell us they didn’t have an automatic car that we reserved. Then it took them another 30mins to get another manual car. They said the free extra driver they advertised, is actually not possible

Cons: The staff was incompetent. Discover cars should not be listing this company on their website. We wasted so much time, and didn’t get the car we wanted. It’s all horrible

Cons: Car was not clean, it was full of blood rain from previous rental and also found used socks on the back seats, supposedly from previous rental. changed drop off address and google maps could not find new address, took 30 minutes to send me address risking losing my flight. Also, when calling them and pressured them to send me address immediately, they just told me bye and cut me off.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Snow chains, Contract fee, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): EU.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
Driver licenses from the following country(ies): China will be accepted only if the translation is approved by the Consulate or Embassy.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.
For the Luxury car group, a minimum of two credit cards issued on the main driver's name are required.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain-Mainland, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee. During winter season (from 15.11 until 15.04) Snow chains are included in price.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.10 to 15.04 in the following regions: Aoasta-Valley.

Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 60 minutes.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 60 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
