Pros: Convenient and quick.

Cons: The car was not the best car I ever rented from Thrifty. There was a big rip in the trunk, huge stains in the interior ceiling, exterior had a LOT of marks and dings. The A/C made a noise (driver side) and car made a funny noise when ignition was turned off.

Pros: Absolutely nothing, they were the most inconsiderate people I ever encountered. I didn't see a single person walk away from their counter happy and that was after more than an hour waiting.

Cons: 2 people working the counter for 2 rental companies. Over an hour wait to find out there were no cars originally reserved. Once I was sent to the pick up booth I was told none of my info was entered. They needed to work from my confirmation email to obtain their own info. Then I was given the last vehicle available which was nothing like I reserved. It was a well beat up minivan with over 35K miles. I normally wouldn't have accepted this car for free nevermind already paid in full.

Pros: The time in line picking up the car was pretty good. The staff/supervisor at the pick up lot were very helpful. Time at drop off was very fast.

Cons: The agent at the check-in desk was way too insistent about trying to "sell" the option of not bringing the car back with a full tank.

Pros: no notable issues

Cons: windshield and wipers on the rented car were not up to par. In a rain storm visability was very poor and I experienced a couple of near misses as a result. I corrected by multiple cleanings of both. Wipers rubber was deteriated and the windshield was oily.

Cons: DRY Rotted tires , Road service FINALLY contacted me 6 HOURS AFTER I called in an emergency, Road service girl was an idiot,,, there is no cross streets when you are on a bridge.

Pros: Ease of finding car in lot. Price for rental was lower than other rental agencies.

Cons: The rental car smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Car was not in the cleanest of condition. Smeared windshield. Multiple areas of damage to the car prior to receiving it. Tampa rental desk understaffed and very long wait times cut into my vacation.

Pros: Returning the car was quick, the lady made sure I forgot nothing and that the licence plate on my contract was the same as the licence plate on the car as the key tag had the wrong licnence plate showing

Rate includes
Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), State Tax, Surcharges.
Rate excludes
Many highways in USA are tolled using only electronic means.
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
The option to prepay tolls is available for 9.99 USD to 27.99 USD per day depending on the travel area.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name.
An International Driving Permit is required (in addition to your regular driver license) if the national driver license is not written in the following language(s): English.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, for rates that include Fuel Purchase Option the first tank of gas is included. Customers do not have to refuel the vehicle prior to return.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 62 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
