Pros: Nothing. I will be speaking to legal representatives and social media influencers to ensure a campaign that lowers bookings of thrifty, and discover cars. I haven't even received an apology yet
Cons: Disgusting service. Wrong location for pick up and drop off was provided by discover cars. Thrifty didn't take any responsibility. They didn't offer compensation. Or an apology. Or a solution. And I will make sure both companies lose revenue customers and that their brand image suffers immensely. I won't be satisfied until I receive a direct apology and compensation
Pros: Nothing at all. Poor overall experience.
Cons: Initially, a very dirty car was given at the airport. Changed to another clean car when the staff member asked the supervisor. Started time the moment we left the terminal office, not the moment we took the car. One day after returning the car, got emailed for a fine that never happened. Apparently, fine was on Abu Dhabi roads whereas the same time on the same day, the rented car was in Dubai and engine switched off. I asked for evidence and GPS report which was not responded to. Not recommended
Cons: The car agent didnt see my booking. I went there earlier than the pick up time, she told me because I came to pick up early so i need to return early than the booking time as well. But my booking is 6 days and 12 hours not 7days then she realized after I talked to her about this.

This is my first use of Thrifty car rental service and to be honest I'm not fond of this service at all. I was driving the car for 3 days, was going from Abu Dhabi to Dubai. Cons: When I arrive to Thrifty office, they don’t accept my nationality ID , they want my passport, while entering to UAE by ID & i didn’t bring my passport & it is not mentioned to have to bring the passport, other thing they said to me you chose 11:00 AM & you came 11:00 PM, we don’t have to give the car, you don’t come on the time, i told them i am coming in the same date, it is not matter the tome.
Rental Conditions

A Young driver fee is not applied.
Maximum rental age is 70 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): United Arab Emirates.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
Renters from the following country(ies): Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates must provide the following documents: valid driver license, ID card, credit card on a main drivers name, passport copy in order to collect the car.
In order to pick up the car, international renters must present the following documents: passport, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, proof of entry/exit into/out of the country, International Driving Permit (IDP), visitors visa.
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 59 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
