Pros: NOTHING

Cons: It took over 90 mins to collect my car. They had a sign saying collect online. i did that, then had to line up again as it kept saying there was no vehicle available. Then i had to provide all my personal identification AGAIN, although i'd already entered into their app. They couldn't tell me where that information was stored or how i could have it deleted. A vehicle i booked to collect at 3pm - i drove out of the parking lot at 4.50pm. In a vehicle i was not happy with.

Pros: Nothing! Thrifty rented to us through Discover cars, who literally stole our money!

Cons: Discover had no problem accepting our debit card which could be used as either a debit or credit card, but when it came time to get a $$ deposit at the pickup desk at our destination, they (or their owner (HERTZ) would not accept the card. Since I didn;t have any other credit card with me, they refused to rent me the car. I had to go to another agency and rent a car - which cost me $200 more than my confirmed rental, plus Discover kept my $300 plus and didn't even send it on to Thrifty!

Rate includes

Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), State Tax, Surcharges.

Rate excludes

Many highways in USA are tolled using only electronic means.
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
The option to prepay tolls is available for 9.99 USD to 27.99 USD per day depending on the travel area.

Driver requirements

Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
An International Driving Permit is required (in addition to your regular driver license) if the national driver license is not written in the following language(s): English.

Deposit and deductible policy

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.

Fuel policy

The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Alternatively, for rates that include Fuel Purchase Option the first tank of gas is included. Customers do not have to refuel the vehicle prior to return.

Rental period

The maximum rental period per agreement is 62 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.

Business hours

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
