Turisprime is a car rental company serving two popular travel destinations at once, the southwestern European nation of Portugal and the Spanish archipelago of the Canary Islands. In Portugal, the company has rental locations in the country’s two largest cities, Lisbon and Porto, as well as in Faro, in the popular southern coastal region of Algarve; in the Canaries, Turisprime serves the five main islands, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Tenerife, La Palma, and Gran Canaria.
Both the Portuguese and Spanish branches of Turisprime are part of Avis Budget Group, the large American car rental conglomerate. The companies primarily operate in the leisure travel segment of the car rental market.
