Pick-up instructions
There are meeting points in both terminals Meeting point at Terminal 1. Public parking Zone A nº11 (at the end). Once you pick up your luggage go upstairs to the departures area. From there go outside and cross into the public parking. Please go to area A (final parking lot) and find row 11. Keep walking until the end of the line and you will see a white booth. If you need help please contact +(34) 673726505. Meeting Point at Terminal 2. The meeting point is located in front of the exit door, across the crosswalk, at the bus stop.

Pros: Willingness to offer to change a vehicle

Cons: Selling an additional comprehensive insurance to ensure that a vehicle will be recovered from the road in case of its mechanical fault while offering a vehicle with excessive mileage on the clock, is a really ‘cheeky selling trick’ to push the customer to take and pay for it, which by the way is not legal in the EU. Also, charging a deposit instead of blocking it on the Credit Card as it normally should be done prompted the incurred transactional fees that have not been returned (!) NOT HAPPY!!!

Pros: It was a reasonable price. We are giving the benefit of the doubt as we think collection will be better when they are properly set up in Lanzarote airport. I'm not entirely sure we got the car we were supposed to have. The avis girl was very charming.

Pros: Lady spoke English

Cons: No attended drop off. I took before and after photos showing no new damage whilst I had car. With no explanation as to the reason there have been multiple attempts to take money from my card, differing amounts and no explanation. I am extremely unhappy of these attempts as they could have been taken except for some unassociated action which has stopped them.

Cons: I went to the meeting point in level 1 car park as per instructions but no-one was there. Only by accident I eventually managed to find out by speaking to lots of people to go to the Avis desk. This was then okay but car wasn't ready, despite the fact it was already over one hour after booked pick up time. In total it took over 2 hours to pick up the car and leave the airport.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 2000.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 99 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Cross-border policy
It is forbidden to cross country borders.
Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company.
Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 30 minutes.
