United Rent A Car at Tanger Airport

Pros: The insurance helped me a lot, i had an emergency and my car was caught in a storm and it drowned, so i am thankful for the insurance.

Cons: I didn't like the wait time to get another car, it was long and i was wet, but other then that great service.

Pros: They gave us a car from another category first and it was not clean. We had to get back to them the day after to receive the car from the category we booked for.

Cons: They gave us a car who was not totally clean. When dropping the car off they charged us for the car wash although they did not tell us we had to clean it. Supplier said we were supposed to know that detail. Additionally, the car had claws when we took it and the guy wznted to charge it to us. Fortunately, we had pictures of the car when taking it so they did not charge it.

Cons: The car was in very bad shape. It had dents and paint touchup all over. Lights were broken, etc. We rented the car at night and in darkness. We did inspect the car in the light of a mobile phone. Did not notice all the defects. Later, I noticed a broken side light and remained in the fear that the return agent will cause issues for me. Cons: You get something totaly different than what you order. Car was not clean and for us not practical. If i needed a bus i would have rented one. I wanted a small car.

Cons: Hidden fees - had to pay extra airport parking fee and cleaning fee (although I returned the car in a very clean condition), which was not made clear. Also one of the main lights was not working and had to replace it.

Cons: Difficult to find them in the Tangier Airport. If you don't have a local number (happily you can buy it in the airport) it is almost impossible to find them. I've ordered the Dacia Duster that is a small SUV, but I was "upgraded" with a Lodgy that is a 7 people van. Maybe cost even more but it's not a same class.

Pros: On drop off, the agent charged us for cleaning the car, 1. The car wasn’t super clean when we rented the car. 2. They never told us about the hidden charges. More importantly the agent charged us 200 Moroccan Dirhams then the company charged me again on my credit card! Disgusting.
