Pros: Never heard of United Rent a Car before and I'm glad I rented with them. The staff was polite, professional and went above and beyond to assist us, they didn't try to sell us insurance nor anything that we didn't need, we just put the deposit and that was it, we were on our way. The car was better than I expected, clean, the outside was well kept it looked almost new. I will totally rent with them again!!!

Cons: Horrible company and process. Took far far too long, incomplete info, rude staff, staff went on break for 25 minutes when there was a line of people that had been in line waiting for awhile already. Upcharged everyone for not having enough personal liability insurance. The whole process was rediculous. Will never use them again.

Cons: They made everyone wait in line without telling anyone what was happening. It turned out there system was down which is apparently common. So they simply cancelled everyone's cars and said they'd give us a refund. But that doesn't make up for a last second cancelation when rental cars are typically booked in advance.

Pros: The only good part about my experience was when I returned my car. Very efficient team, very quick.

Cons: It was very hard to find my transportation shuttle at the airport because United Rent a Car is not the real name of the company. Therefore we were looking for something else. We had to call the service number in order to find out that we were getting picked up by a different car rental company

Pros: Every customer paid additional money upon arrival that I witnessed. I was there a hour between waiting to be checked in, the confusion with having to get additional insurance beside the coverage I purchased with the reservation plus my personal insurance and waiting on someone to bring the car up.

Cons: I believe the company is getting over on everyone that patronize their business.

The following insurance type(s) Theft protection (TP), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), Third Party Liability (TPL) is (are) not included for residents of Canada, USA.
An E-toll charge will apply; personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 24.

Maximum rental age is 82 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 71.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 3 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
