The 2nd vehicle was in much worst condition. The whole front suspension was making noise. Seems both shocks were gone. I would never rent anything from YesCars. Dangerous

Pros: The car was quite old - 125000kms - and had quite a few minor dents and scratches BUT was very economical and ran really well. Travelled long distances - approx 2500kms - and had no problems whatsoever.

Cons: I didn't like the that i had to leave a $2000.00 Deposit for a minor bit of damage to the car. Which I did not do. To help in these matters a dash cam should be placed in all of the vehicles. The car was parked over 2 days and the damage done then. I had a flight to catch at 10.am and they were not going to let me go until could paid the deposit. THEY DIDNT EVEN KNOW THER OWN BANK DETAILS. To pay money into their account by another person.

Pros: It took only a couple of minutes to sign off and pick up the car and dropping off was very easy too. They also had a shuttle there to take us back to the airport. Car was clean looked well looked after.

I am not sure how to proceed with the claim which was insured through Discover. So the rental was fine up until then.

On the last day of our trip, we had a flat tire. I expected that I must have run over a nail somehow. But no, the front passenger tire blew because there was no tread on the tire. The steel belts showed all the way around. We (and Yes Rentals) were extremely lucky that the tire blew out on a straight away.

Pros: Wasn't happy about the hidden cost. As per the online check in - it states that there were no hidden costs at the desk only to be told that there is a $250.00 bond that had to be paid up-front. This caused issues for our holiday as it left us short.
