Yes Rentals at Auckland Airport

Pros: Very good and easy to deal with.

Pros: Very good fast and service

Pros: Good value for money. Served its purpose for getting you here and there.

Cons: The car smelt like someone’s wet dog. Bring your own car freshener and wipes. Make sure you wipe down that steering wheel. Doesn’t look like they cleaned their cars in between renters.

Pros: The agent was friendly and helpful when picking up the car rental and the price seemed very fair. The car worked well and didn’t have any problems.

Cons: The car itself was not in very good condition. It was clean but had a very strong chemical smell inside the entire trip, especially when we would turn on the heater. The agents at the rental place tried to be helpful, but they didn’t seem to know a whole lot about the spare tire and the radio on boarding announcements was in a different language which we had to listen to the whole time

Pros: Very helpful staffs and clean tidy car

Cons: None

Pros: From start to end service

Pros: The staffs were friendly and good.

Cons: The drop off at Auckland airport was a bit of a distance. While I know there is a drop off point, as we were carrying many luggage, there could have been some initiative to drop where private hire cars drop off which would habe made it easier and convenient.

Cons: They charged almost 46 dollars on my card after 10 days for no reason

Cons: Pick up was slow, we waited over an hour for the mini bus to take us to the car rental pick up

Pros: Good

Cons: Everything

Pros: Easy to deal with

Cons: It's not so much a criticism, moreso an observation. There were some minor seat stains and grime around the gear shift lever console. The windscreen wiper fluid was also next to empty when i picked it up but I replenished it. Before I returned the car, I did my best to clean to interior. I also appreciate that the car is 7 years old.

Pros: Proffesionalism

Cons: Excess rate charged.

Cons: Nil all good

Pros: The staff are friendly.

Cons: Dirty car and wind screen wipers not working properly. Wouldn't recommend yes rentals

Cons: No show for the midnight pickup, no refund for service not provided. Car originally booked wasn’t clear that it was a hatchback rather than a sedan (ie no boot)

Pros: Ability to drive up the cruise.

Cons: I returned the car at Queenstown and despite me checking multiple times if the domestic airport is opened at 3am, the staff who drove us there said yes. Ended up,.our family was chased out by security at the airport and we had to walk to a Mac Donalds off-site. It is terribly irresponsible of the staff to give the wrong information like this and we could have been in trouble for trespassing.

Cons: This was the worst car I have ever driven in my life. 205 000km, scaly paint and scratches all over the body of the car, dysfunctional windshield wiper, A/C unable to get rid of fog inside the windshield… I changed my travel plans because I did not feel quite safe to drive through New Zealand in that car. Very disappointed. Also still waiting for my deposit…

Pros: Very efficient, helpful and friendly staff.

Cons: The van's carplay/Android play kept dropping the phone connection. Tried 3 phones but same results.

Pros: Greatest

Cons: Greatest

Pros: not far from the airport, quick service and I got a Hybrid car when I asked for one

Cons: I didnt like that I was not dropped off at the drop zone by the terminal, I had to walk quite a long way with my luggage from the shuttle area...

Pros: Everything except the shuttle pickup

Cons: A little long for shuttle to come to airport

Pros: It was fairly straight forward once we got picked up and drop off was easy.

Cons: The shuttle service is hard to get in touch with for pick up, the request via the website/app is not intuitive and the phone had to be called several times before we got through to someone.

Pros: The price was great.

Cons: It was hard to find the shuttle, and the instructions weren't clear. Also, we specifically chose a Toyota Aqua expecting that it would have cruise control, which ours did not. That was a bummer.

Pros: They’re always so informative, helpful and cars are always nice and tidy.

Pros: Good service. Great people. Great location. Good to have van service for pick up and drop off

Cons: N/a

Pros: Excellent service highly recommend

Pros: Very well priced. Fantastic service from pick up to drop off!

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The biggest issue was the condition of the car One of the headlights was not in right condition, which is really damgerous while w3're driving countryside after dark. It was ok to change into high-beam, but we cannot use thiat way all the time for sake of the cars coming fromother side.

Pros: great. good service

Pros: Good service and good car.

Pros: Car was in good condition and fuel economy, friendly boys and very helpful

Cons: Nothing

Pros: The price was right. Car was fuel efficient.

Cons: I've stopped bringing my car mount because every rental has Android Auto. But this car had no screen and no backup camera. Phone didn't answer when we arrived and bus was a long time. Confusing instructions for pickup. Remote location far from petrol stations.

Pros: Friendly

Cons: Basic car

Cons: We got flat and there was no spare tire. When we went to the tire shop to have the flat repaired, the mechanic was surprised that they gave us a car with 2 very bald tires. We returned the vehicle (they were very good about this part) and they replaced it with a far newer version of the same model. The replacement was overall in better condition and it included a spare tire.

Cons: Issues were with the car - very weak radio reception and weak headlights

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Using the on-line check-in speeded up things cosiderably. The car performance was very good. Yes was very responsive to emails.

Cons: 1. Had to go through Dicover car booking fee which cost me more money for no reason. 2. Could only contact Yes upon arrival by phone which meant had to buy my SIM card first. Adding email or WhatsApp would be helpful. 3. No map of Mangere showing their location and location of petrol stations was provided. 4. Should have been provided with a report on condition of car as delivered to us (though in fairness they accepted the car back without a close inspection).

Pros: It was a pleasure to pick up the car this time. The service was very good. I will rent a car here next time.

Pros: good service！ very fast and efficient

Pros: Staff very friendly. Car was good too

Pros: Fast and efficient

Cons: No option to upgrade when found out we had no satnav

Pros: Old car , not what I thought I was hiring , little disappointing and no maps for free .

Cons: Everything to be honest , they knew that I was waiting to be picked up at 5.40 before their cutoff time , I was having trouble calling them from my phone ( I did have international credit ) and I showed them this , still charged me the $45 dollar after hrs fee . The car was an older model car and drop off was hard to find . I will never use again .

Pros: Easy, helpful, friendly

Pros: the easy process and great car at an affordable price

Cons: nothing

Pros: Car was ready, transfer to airport on return was excellent.

Cons: No complaints

Pros: Was good once the mistake had been fixed up

Cons: They kept saying there is no booking and I had to wait from 4.30am until 8.30am until they picked me up. It was s tiring after a long flight from the Netherlands and the the wait

Pros: drop off went really well

Cons: Lack of clarity about the pick location at the Auckland airport ... wording does not describe where we meet the shuttle

Pros: Friendly and efficient. They allowed me time to read the contract, guiding me through the contract and conditions. I loved the hybrid car and it was excellent performance and economical for my trip.

Cons: It was all a great experience.

Pros: Great service. Helpful. Will recommend to friends and family

Pros: The car drives great, so good, with no issues at all. The key point is that it's extremely fuel-efficient.

Pros: The car price of this company is reasonable. The service attitude of the staff who pick up and return the car is very good, my family and I are very satisfied. We didn't encounter any problems in this trip. I will continue to rent with Yes Rentals when I travel next time.

Cons: All good

Pros: Fast pick up and drop off. Easy shuttle service. And customer service is best!

Pros: Excellent service!

Pros: Courteous service, quick and efficient

Cons: Completely unprofessional approach and I hereby REQUEST compensation in the amount of 700.-NZD (200.-NZD was sent to us by the rental company) for the problems we had with the delivered rented car. One day the rear wheel bolts broke on the car and we could not continue. We were told by phone to have the car repaired at the service and that the costs would be reimbursed. We spent the next day looking for a service, but it was Saturday, the service told us that they did not have spare parts, where

Pros: Good price. Efficient service. Hybrid car.

Pros: Fast and effieicent

Cons: Quality and condition of the car

Cons: Radio not working

Pros: I paid $125 when I booked But that was not deducted from my rental fee?

Cons: I paid $125 when I booked But this was not deducted from my rental fee?

Pros: Nice car and helpful staff

Pros: helpful and nice service!!!! Recommended!

Pros: cheap price, nice service. good car. will recommend to other people

Pros: The staff were efficient friendly and helpful

Cons: Didn't like the vehicle. When ordering vehicle online I requested a car aged between 2018 to 2022. The Toyota Aqua was a 2012. I requested a Toyota Corolla and it says you may be a similar car. A Toyota Aqua is not similar. It is much smaller and was hard to fit our 2 suitcases in the boot. The car had dents and scratches on it plus it was dirty. The inside too was dirty. I found food on the floor plus dirt. Hardly good enough and I would not use Yes Rentals again.

Pros: Speedy pick up and drop off service, car was very clean as well.

Cons: Car's coolant level was below the minimum level which got me a bit worried, wheel alignment required as steering was veering to the left on a straight road, there was an issue with the gearbox which sometimes has a delay before engaging from a standstill. Hope these issues are resolved before the car is rented out again.

Pros: The drop off was quick

Cons: 40 mins to pick us up from the airport, very old car that had done 197,000km, terrible customer service, too far away from the airport, only one shuttle, minimal staff. It was literally the worst car we had ever hired in our lives!

Cons: Pick up driver from airport when we arrived grumpy and unhelpful.Looked like he didn't want to be there.

Pros: very efficient and friendly

Cons: Hard to find on the way back

Pros: Friendly staff.

Cons: Waiting for the shuttle for 40 minutes and the drive back to the office was only 15 minutes. Processing was tedious, especially as we were the only client there and this was an online booking. We effectively booked again standing there in the office. I'm not sure why after hours drop off instructions are such a big secret only to be devulged when picking up the vehicle. Yeah processing was mucky and we had to return to retrieve my husbands phone. The rep didn't give it back.

Pros: All staff very friendly and helpful especially miss charlotte, can use Cook Straits ferry without extra charge, they use hybrid car which use very little petrol, will definately rent YES car again when in New Zealand. Thank for the NZ souvenir (Chocolatte)

Pros: Yes. The car is really nice and economy. Very good for my trip. Will definitely use YES RENTALS again.

Cons: No

Pros: Good customer service

Cons: Keep going

Pros: Very convenient to pick up and return the car, good service

Pros: The service was very good and staff friendly.

Cons: Nothing

Pros: Good service Staff was very kind.

Cons: Helped me a lot at pick up.

Pros: Nothing. This company is too complexe. The office of Auckland doesn't take any initiative or proposition. Worst rental experience of my life and worst customer service ever.

Cons: The way they take care of their customers when something wrong happen.

Pros: Shuttle service might be a little bit hard to find even with the instructions in the email, but the staff member's follow up call did help us to locate the shuttle bus. Moreover, since the majority of their cars are Toyota Aqua, that means you'd easy get a free upgrade from a pure petrol car to a hybrid one, saving the refueling money. And, as a Hongkonger, with most of the staff members are Chinese, communicating with them would be easy.

Cons: Unfortunately we had a tyre incident near a small town named Taihape. The staff I contacted first referred me to AA Road Assistance but in fact they are not using AA NZ as their insurance company, which AA NZ can offer no help as well. We got lucky with another referral by AA NZ to a local tyre company there. I understand it's hard to offer any help from the rental company with such a remote location but I think it clearly shows that they could offer little to no support for remote locations.

Cons: All reps were english second language and not at all helpful. Car was in poor mechanical condition and the interior was dirty and stained.

Pros: Good friendly helpful

Cons: Nothing

Cons: 1, I booked Corolla but got smaller size one Aqua. 2, pick up location instruction ( intl airport) is not updated and confusing .

Pros: Very efficient staff , went quickly. Yes rentals.

Cons: Cars are older with dings, but nothing terrible. If that contributed to lower cost it was great.

Pros: Very friendly and helpful

Cons: N/A

Pros: For me the communication was great had a flight cancellation and they accommodated my requirements effectively and efficiently. Thank you

Pros: Very friendly and nice staffs.

Cons: No comment

Pros: I appreciated the one young man at Yes who worked with us patiently and kindly to help us secure our rental car that day we picked it up. Their online customer service person was very helpful and helped me solve the problem of the wrong contract and no photos of the car!

Cons: The staff at Yes rentals were aloof and didn't make us feel welcomed. The staff talked way too fast and we couldn't understand them and they didn't look at us or attend to us in a professional manner. They were not friendly or kind. The first car they tried to get me to take had NO BRAKES! The brake pedal went to the floor! Then they gave me car with a CRACKED BUMPER. They would not let me look at the rental contract and the emailed one was for another car!Others came after us & theyrushedtothem

Pros: fast and efficient

Pros: Good condition car for lower price.

Cons: Non disclosure of information that car was 6 years old.

Pros: Staff were very helpful and efficient

Cons: Car needed little better clean and had several dents and scratches

Pros: Car was an older model and had some dings but nothing terrible

Pros: Was quick to pick up and drop off

Pros: Waited over an hour for shuttle bus from airport. First car broke down one hour after collection. No apologies. No customer service at all. Unfriendly staff

Pros: Good value, financial wise for the car re-rented, for the duration

Cons: A little far from the airport, pick up and communication was skewed a little on both parties. With arriving in New Zealand from another country and not having a New Zealand phone, email was the best form of communication. However, there was no response a week and or days prior to emailing.

Pros: Friendly staff, drop off v efficient

Cons: but pick up at airport took too long (particularly when want to get somewhere for a certain time) - we ended up being late.

Pros: Quick pickup after online check-in. Good comms via text and email.

Pros: No deposit

Cons: They didn’t provide the car I booked online and didn’t notify me that it was a smaller car. We had a lot of driving to do and the car was small and not smoothe to drive on the road. When I asked if they could upgrade us it was a straight no and no reasoning what so ever

Pros: friendly and efficient

Cons: no complaints at all

Pros: Good value for the money.

Cons: Waited a little longer than expected 30+ minutes for the shuttle to pick us up. Drop off is confusing. The security gate stays closed. They should hand you specific directions to come to that gate on Ascot street for return.

Pros: Service rapide Personnel agréable

Cons: Site difficile à trouver. Pas de navette pour aller chercher le véhicule. Voiture plutôt vieille. Bouton ventilation bloqué. Véhicule pas très propre

Pros: Easy pickup, offered transport to airport, car was perfect for us.

Cons: A little farther from the airport but with the shuttle service it was ok. Their car offerings were limited so for some people it may not suit their needs.

Cons: Location was further from the airport than I thought. Shuttle van smelt horrible. Car quality was poor and did not have any wiper fluid.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Scam and incredibly rude manager / staff. Don’t waste your money

Cons: The var should be Toyota Corolla class, bur was only Toyota Aqua class (1 class lower)

Pros: Fast, friendly

Pros: Lower cost

Cons: We can definitely feel there is a class differences from the top class car rentals. The level of services in answering queries were very low level. The free shuttle smell bad and dirty. The car quality is giving a doubt whether it is save.

Pros: Friendly service of the driver who drove us to the domestic terminal.

Cons: The attitude of the pickup driver was extremely rude. We will never use your service.

Pros: Fast pickup and drop off. Pre collection submission of documents so I can drive off immediately after verification.

Cons: The location is about 10 minutes from the airport, so had to factor in an extra 45 minutes to drop off the family at airport first, return the vehicle and take the free shuttle back to the airport.

Pros: fuel efficiency

Cons: the car key has low battery. the volume button didn't work.

Cons: It cost a ridiculous amount of money to pick up and drop off in a different location.

Pros: Cheap and fast.

Cons: The agents were not helpful nor friendly. They did not do a walk through with the car—which ended up having a bunch of exterior damage and a broken tail light. The shuttle to the airport smelt wet and moldy, it was unpleasant to be in. Would not book a car from this location again.

Pros: Efficient

Cons: Nil

Pros: People are nice

Cons: After hours starts too early

Pros: Easy pick up/drop off from airport

Pros: Great value

Cons: Difficulty contacting them on arrival and the other company that it says to ring after six couldn’t help as no car had been left with them. Took five calls and thirty minutes to make contact

Pros: Good service but I can’t forgive the extra charges. And no I’m not referring to the insurance. The complete fee charged again.

Cons: The wait for the shuttle bus was $28 mins and not every 15 mins.

Pros: Because it was super easy to book and easy to register.

Cons: Only reason for an 7 is because we booked a bigger car but didn't end up getting a bigger car so could've spent less on the booking if we just booked the smaller car.

Pros: Car offered at 1st attempt was below standard for a prestige van as required. However after speaking with staff at Yes Cars we were offered a more suitable Van. They called it an upgrade and I called it what we ordered in the 1st place. 2nd Van offered was great, clean, economical and comfortable.

Cons: 1st Van offered needs to be crushed. Was dirty, unkempt and below what a prestige Van should have been.

Pros: Nice car good value

Cons: Waiting to be picked up from airport but I also understand that’s why rental is cheaper

Pros: Price was good.

Cons: After hours starts to soon, really 6PM on a friday when everyone is arriving? Poor car. No food in car is an unrealistic instruction. Threats around cleanliness did not make me feel as though I would pass test. No communication post rental of returning or releasing deposits.

Pros: none

Cons: guy with glass is horribly grumpy also they charged additional fee for full coverage even though we have already paid for the full coverage via Discover cars

Pros: pleasant staff

Cons: car smelt persistently of damp

Pros: Very helpful with getting nz SIM card

Cons: The initial trying to contact them needs to be maybe Snapchat which you can access on the internet

Pros: Fast, efficient service; value for money and clean, tidy vehicle.

Pros: Nice friendly and helpful staff

Pros: Great value

Cons: No problems, very happy

Pros: Yes rentals were great, fast and efficient. Replied to me right away about things. Great!
