Places we visited were great! Highly recommend renting or at least get driven around in Puerto Rico. So much more to do outside of San Juan!

We visited Ponce and the pink salt flats on the south eastern side of PR. Also the car was great for jumping from place to place in San Juan providing you are amendable to paying a bit for parking. There is a large garage in old San Juan that is quite reasonable as well as reasonable valet options at most hotels we saw.

San Juan is fine, but it was 2.5hrs to Rincón, where I was staying for the week. It wasn’t a bad drive but flying in to Aguadilla is closer and quicker. But overall it wasn’t a bad drive l, just long. San Juan seems like a fun area.
