Fantastic nature, beautiful mountains. Be aware that driving in Albania is a bit challenging. We took trip to Bolivia lake by autobus as we couldn’t drive there and it was worth it.

We had a great time. Love the country and the people are very warm and friendly. We travelled into the mountains and went hiking etc. Then had some time in Berat for a bit of history and then beach time in Vlore and Durres. Very nice!

We drove between Tirana, Berat, Sarandë, Gjirokaster, Dhërmi and Golem.
Along the way we stopped at the Blue Eye, visited a lot of castles and swam at beautiful beaches. The car was great in busy cities due to it's small size, yet it still seemed spacious on the inside.
Having heard Albania was expensive for fuel, we were initially concerned with the cost of petrol, however we only spent roughly £100 on petrol for the entire trip over 9 days.
The staff went out their way to help resolve any queries we had. Ritvan was very helpful when we were handing back the car and provided clarity on the process.

We drove all over Albania - from Shkodër to Theth, then down to Ksamil through Kruje, Berat and Gjirokaster, before finishing in Vlore. Beautiful country - we loved it!

Beautiful country, 99% of locals were very friendly. We loved the north, certainly got a lot busier in the south which we weren’t a fan of, we knew this before coming to Albania but didn’t quite understand how busy the beaches were down south. It’s shame they haven’t left some of the beaches as public so you could walk across them. Completely full of sun beds- some beaches you weren’t even allowed on unless you paid for a bed.

Albania is blessed with lots of natural beauty like beaches lakes and mountains. I visited many places like Sarandë, Ksamil, blue eye, Butrint and many places. I went to Montenegro as well.

We really liked hiking near Bovilla lake, exploring Berat, walking to Blue Eye and driving next to the sea via Ksamil, Dhermi, Vlore and Durres. Most memorable restaurant is definitely The Barrels Ms near Gjirokaster, the loveliest place.

Although the roads can be difficult in Albania, the scenery is unbelievable and driving is fun once you get the hang of it. Driving into the mountains and the endless blue waters were the highlights.

I mostly visited the South of Albania. The country is beautiful, it's getting cleaner.
I recommend that before you pick up and drop off the car, take photos to be on the safe side.
For any problems you may have with the car don't hesitate to contact the rental help desk.
Respect the speed limit, drive carefully because you see people overtaking dangerously from time to time.
Don't ever drink and drive! Very important.
The rest enjoy, because Albania is such a beautiful country and the weather is fantastic.
