We travelled from Dublin to Galway, lovely time there and a trip over to the Aran Islands, where we had a horse and cart ride; it was wonderful! Then we went to Cork for a couple of nights where we went to a concert with The Waterboys and Crowded House. Finally we went to Skibbereen, calling off at the fabulous Kinsale and Clonakilty. Fab music in Debarra’s Bar there🎶

We travelled to see my brother and family but we had a lovely time exploring Cork and the Marina and Black Markets - definitely worth a visit. Kinsale was nice, as was Youghal, Lismore and Cappoquin. Our accomodation was amazing at the Gabriel House B&B in Cork. Breakfast is a MUST - absolutely awesome. The Staff make you feel right at home and are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and basic but that is exactly what you need when you're travelling.

We did the self Father Ted tour so we saw new parts of Clare. We were in Ailiwee Cave which was informative and interesting. Also we were in Bunratty Castle and Folke park.This has plenty of history and people who are informative about the era. There are also plenty of places to eat. We loved the Creamery and had lovely food.
We were in Fanny Odeas pub and restaurant. Lovely food and staff and we tried the secret recipe Egg flip 😁
