Pros: Car was a little battered with a number of large scratches , it actually drove very well and probably wasn’t as old as it looked .

Cons: Alma car rentals were surprisingly good . Actually Abbycars provided the rental in the end , and the reviews online were not good . We were not oversold insurance which was nice . As usual in these situations they block a large sum on your credit card . Not a problem . When we returned the car the guy checking was polite , no fuss , and waved us on our way with the promos of a quick return of the deposit . Excellent service

Pros: Meet and greet at airport and shuttle service was great, really friendly staff.

Cons: The muddle with insurance, I paid for full comp insurance through Discover Cars, but the car hire company told me I wasn't insured and had to leave a deposit on credit card of £800. Very off putting and left me nervous about driving the car! Feel they are trying to upsell insurance through fear tactics which is not pleasant.
