Pros: A very smooth rental with everything explained. Super easy return and very good quality car which was even a higher spec than I chose on the rental website

Cons: There was a bit of a delay picking up the car, not entirely the agents fault as three flights came in at the same time.

Pros: Tarik was great, really friendly and although there’s a few steps to the hiring process does this as efficiently as possible. There wasn’t any spaces left in the correct place for drop off but the team took over and relocated the car for us. My sister’s family also hired from Avia, both cars were well maintained and good quality. They operate a full to full fuel policy which is much easier to manage and we would always go back to them if we go back to Croatia.

Pros: They were friendly and helpful both at collection and drop off. When we had a problem, they were a little stand offish because the insurance wasn’t purchased through them, but they were helpful enough to get it resolved.

Cons: When we had a problem out of hours, it took a fair bit of tenacity to find the right number and get through to someone. Who could help.

Pros: Easy - no hassle etc.

Cons: Blocked deposit on my credit card will take 1 month to be refunded...I don't remember seeing that when I ordered it. More importantly , there was something wrong with the steering of this car and when described when handing back, the agent put it down to the lane-changing alert...hmmm. When I'd mentioned to him I'd turned this off right at the beginning of the hire, this did not appear to matter.

Pros: Friendly staff, didn’t use the hardsell tactics for extras. Took time in pointing out the existing bumps, scratches etc.

Cons: The petrol tank was supposed to be full but the gouge was at least half a cm off - I happened to notice it, it was not pointed out to me. The car was a Skoda (I requested Golf). There was some rubbish underneath the seats.
