Cons: Cars requested were not available. We had to take only cars that were available, then pay upgrade prices, then upgrade insurance after dire warnings from the agent. Very costly.

Pros: The car I was given was both damaged and filthy - we picked it up after a 10 hour flight in the dark and didn’t realise the condition of the vehicle until we saw it in daylight the next day.

Cons: The AVIS representative at our hotel and the one I contacted by phone were completely unhelpful.

Pros: The lady at the Avis desk was super efficient, didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need and was fairly speedy.

Cons: Nothing. We had to return the car to Sarasota Airport as a piece fell off it underneath the car. The service there was also very efficient there and we got a similar sized car which was returned to Orlando airport Avis without a problem.

Cons: Car was not in good condition. Tyres inflation warning on all the time. Oil change warning came on from time time. Also I ordered an economy car but got a 4x4 which was not fuel efficient
