Pros: The gentleman at the indoor desk was quick to come outside and sort the problem of the blocked car for us

Pros: The relief when my £2000 + petrol deposit was returned!

Cons: The cabin at Knock airport outside was empty on arrival and drop off. We were wandering around the yard trying to find the car! The petrol policy was unclear. I wanted a paper copy of the agreement from Budget and a receipt for the credit card payment. They said they only provide it by email..so it took some time for me to get that.

Pros: Helpful staff, well maintained 21-reg car on which everything worked.

Cons: Minor gripe - after the end of the rental I was emailed a further copy of the rental agreement to sign, so I rang the office and they said there was no need, so I'm not sure why they sent it!

Pros: The car was booked out with a full tank of fuel but was on half. The agent did change the fuel amount as soon as I reported it. There was additional damage nit on the initial report so I took a video for my records.

Cons: The new 08:00 take off of Ryan air to E Mid and with Charlestown garages closed until 08:00 means you can’t get any nearby petrol and therefore incur heavy penalties leaving fuel tank 3/4 empty.

Pros: The quote was good and the car was fine. But I was charged a different amount.

Cons: The tank was only half full so it made filling up the tank to return the car a bit of guess work as only half filling. I was also charged roughly £15 more than I was told I’d have to pay. The broker, discover cars, has completely ignored my request for a reason for the charge. It was taken from my credit card after the rental was completed. I had my own excess insurance and I told budget this so I e no idea what the extra was for. I won’t be using discover cars or budget again.

Pros: Quick and easy collection

Cons: Nobody present at office and no confirmation since drop off that all was handed back ok. Car wasn’t good, no screen wash, engine sounded awful with poor performance and tyre warning light came on just after setting off (checked at first garage and all tyres ok so cancelled without it coming on again)
