Pros: Please do not use this company as they ripped us off with additional charges and would not admit to misspelling. They ripped us off by £300

Pros: The car was nice. Opel corsa. Goldcar staff were helpful but their hands were tied because I’ve booked through a third-party which I will never do it again

Cons: The service by Gold Coast was okay. I paid for the car hire when I booked and then I had to pay almost the same again when I’ve got the gold car so felt like I was taken for a ride by the third-party booking agent.

Pros: Swift and efficient collection from Goldcar at Fuerteventura Airport. Saida Maria was very friendly and professional. No hard sell for extra insurance (I had my own excess and paid the deposit on my credit card whii received back promptly). Drop off was also a breeze.

Pros: Fast and efficient at the desk when we picked the car up. The staff were super helpful. When we dropped the car back off, the check in agent was great. Very friendly and fast!

Cons: I was expecting a VW Tiguan ( easier access due to a bad neck joint issue!) However we got a VW T-Roc which is a lot smaller. Not the end of the world though and we managed with it. :)

Pros: Always efficient and friendly, all paperwork completed and car collected in under 10 mins.

Cons: We were 1/2 an early, so Gold Car said our car wasn’t ready, so they charged us 28 euros extra to have a Corsa. But the really annoying thing was the petrol gauge was on 3/4 when we finished out holiday, so I put 28 euros of fuel in to fill it up, until the nozzle clicked and I could seek the fuel full in the neck, but the gauge strangely didn’t move off 3/4’s , I thought maybe on the 1/4 mile drive to the airport it would go to full, but it didn’t, Gold Car have charged me 69 euros for the fuel

Cons: Waiting behind people who had not pre booked - obviously took longer. That's not a reflection on your staff who were doing their best!

Cons: I wasn’t keen on leaving a deposit or ‘hold’ on my credit card of nearly £1000. I knew this would be covered by the extra we purchased from discovercars

Pros: The rental desk was very helpful but they told us we had to go around the car with the employee outside to check for damage, it also stated that on the form we were given.

Cons: It took an extremely long time to find the person and when we did they said we could do it ourselves and just hand it in. So it took us twice as long. Returning the car wasn’t very helpful either as there was no one outside to go over the car with us, so ourselves and some other people returning had to resort to taking pictures/video of the cars, in case they came back and said it was damaged.

Pros: Really friendly and efficient service, explained everything very well.
