Pros: Nothing except the help offered by an agent via phone, when i was locked out of the car because the automatic entry key system broke down.

Cons: From the moment i was picked up at cancun international Airport my odyssey with MEX cars started. The agent forced me and 2 other customers buy 3 times the booking rate in insurances under the threat that our basic package with our personal car insurance was not enough and if we did not buy the new offered insurance, we would lose our already booked car and money. The car worked well within city limits of short rides. But 1st ride out of town the automatic entry key system failed. I was given

Pros: Not much, transfers were good between the terminal and agency.

Cons: Despite the promise that we would need no additional insurance the agent wouldn’t let me have the car until I could evidence third party insurance, I ended up paying £144 for this and then realise it was on my travel insurance:::: very sharp practice. Your paperwork shows: X third party You may save a lot of other people getting caught by this if you add in brackets “ travel insurance” The car provided was then damaged on every single panel, did make return easier as didn’t even check it!!

Pros: car was pretty big. Seemed in decent mechanical shape

Cons: Jumping $180 of insurance on us was disgraceful. Although i blame you mainly for this (Discovery car). Slihgtly flat tyres on pick up - refused to pump them up at the centre. Long time picking up with no inside seating out of the heat.

Pros: Dropping the car off was great. We had to wait a few minutes for the bus to the terminal but it wasn't long at all.

Cons: It took so long to pick the car up. I was stood in line for at least an hour before speaking to an agent. All the people ahead of me were arguing about insurance up selling and having to pay large deposits on a credit card. My credit card wouldn't go through so we had to use my wife's and add her on as another driver which cost us an extra £60.

Pros: On drop off the representative was very helpful, and said he would investigate my complaint. We have however not heard anything further

Cons: On pick up, we didn't like anything about the service. The representative mislead us about cost and blatantly lied about what we were paying for, even though I showed him our contract agreement with Discovercars. He told us to either take the car at the price he was saying or go away and get a rental somewhere else.
