Ok Mobility
OK Mobility began in 2004 selling vehicles to wholesalers and businesses, an industry it still operates in. The company would expand to offer cars for hire in 2010 (which is when it took its current main brand, OK). The first cars for hire were offered by the company in Mallorca. Later, it would start hiring out cars on Ibiza, another island in the Balearics. From there, the company expanded to mainland Spain in 2015. It now has car hire points in all major cities in the country including in Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, and Alicante.
OK now operates in 13 other countries aside from Spain. It concentrates on popular holiday destinations like Greece, Portugal, Italy, Croatia, and Malta. The company has even grown to have locations outside of Europe, namely Marakesh, Morocco (which opened in 2023), and Miami, Florida, United States (one of the largest markets for rental cars in the world). In Europe, it has locations in the Balkans, too, including in addition to Croatia, Albania, Montenegro, Serbia, and Romania, which it calls emerging tourist destinations.
