Pros: Fernando who works for PAA explained everything in such detail, I felt totally comfortable when I drove the car away. He was incredibly polite efficient and helpful explaining the customs of the country when driving.

Pros: Easy to collect

Cons: Rep tried to tell us what time we should arrive at the airport we knew when we wanted to arrive and not his time as that would have made us late. He then charged us 30euros. So won’t use them again as that has never happened before

Pros: The man was helpful and knowledgeable about the car. It was a Peugeot 208 awful Car very low and no leg room. Because you can only choose a group which offers a car or similar you have no control over which car you actually get!

Cons: He was a little late so we had to ask at the P4 desk if he was around. Fortunately he was coming! The rest As above!

Pros: The representative on collection was super - I believe his name was Fernando - extremely clear in instructions and thoroughly checked the car before releasing it to me - polite- professional and 100% efficient! On returning the car it was quick and also efficient- no paperwork needed to be done and a quick check of the car and petrol gauge and we were good to jump back on the plane home . Fantastic service - slick and quick

Cons: I didn’t like the fact I wanted to pick up my car three days later due to an unforeseen family funeral and was happy to not expect a refund for those three days due to my changing it but was disappointed to be charged even more due to it overlapping into high season - I understand it was out of PAAs control and down to discover cars policy - a genuine reason for delaying the collection and being charged more for no extra work at all does sting a bit !

Pros: Very clear instructions and they don't try to sell another insurance policy like most other companies do.

Cons: Great service but no office and they charged extra 30 euros for my plane landing after 8pm!! Not happy about that surprise but didn't spoil the holiday. Also you need to take car back with same or more fuel in it which is also a deal breaker but as I know Portugal very well, managed to not give any more fuel or costs on top of what I needed to. Tank have less than half when we drove off. Take photo and refill prior to hand back. It's very petty not having a 'full tank to full tank' deal.

Pros: Total cost was exactly what was quoted on the web - and they had the best price overall. No hard sales trying to get us to buy more insurance or any other services. As promised, company rep was at airport arrivals exit to meet us, and brought us the car. Car in excellent condition. it was the easiest car rental ever - and we have rented many times!

Cons: There is no drop off location at the airport. Drop off has to be arranged previously at an exact time. We arrived to return the car 1 hour earlier, and had to wait for the company rep to come and collect the car from us.

Pros: Pick up from arrivals, bit of paperwork to sort there and then straight forward process. The agent gave us lots of helpful tips about what to do/not to do when driving, about documents to have and how to avoid any unwanted attention.

Pros: It was a good car.

Cons: They didn’t take Amex so we had to pay a lot more than we expected to get the car. Maybe it’s our fault for not reading that they didn’t take Amex in the small print, but it still made everything so expensive that if we had known we had used another service.
