At the same time, many rental companies now offer EVs to customers.
What's the best place to rent an EV? How easy will it be to find a place to charge it? Below we show the relative charging networks in various countries along with states in the USA.
We use data from Open Charge Map, which is an open-source database of charging locations around the world. We also use the
International Energy Agency's Global EV Data Explorer for data on the share of electric cars in use in various countries.
