Rent a car at Zakynthos Airport and head to Zakynthos Town! Hang out at the city square—with its bars, restaurants, and cultural centers, it’s the most happening part of town. Drive your rental to Cape Skinari to check out the Blue Caves, visit the shipwreck at Navagio Beach, and make sure to see the nearby Agios Gergio Kremnao Monastery.

Then head to the beach to relax and swim, and maybe  do some  water sports. Agios Nikolaos Beach and Alikes Beach are more crowded but fun, while Dafni Beach and Xehoriati Beach are calmer and favored by the locals. Zakynthos Airport is about 5.5 km (3.4 mi) from the town of Zakynthos or Zante. Epar. Od. Zakinthou–Mavron Volion, Mousourgou Spyrou Kapsaski, and Lomvardou are the main streets connecting the airport to town.

Although Zakynthos Airport is really small, you’ll find a few cafés, fast food restaurants, and eateries offering Greek cuisine, as well as shops, a duty-free outlet, an ATM, a first aid room, and a baby changing room. Nearest gas station

Totos Oil gas station, on the left side of Highway 35 when driving from the airport to Zakynthos town, can be reached in about four minutes and is open 24/7. It provides ethanol-free gas. There are other gas stations near the airport and on the island of Zakynthos.
