- Bone Chapel. Chilling to some and fascinating for others, Capela dos Ossos is made out of bones taken from a nearby monk graveyard. The chapel is inside the beautiful Carmo church.
- Praia do Faro. Although not as famous as some of the other beaches of Algarve, Faro’s main beach is a great place to enjoy the sun and the sea. There are many other, more secluded beaches near the city that you can reach with your car.

- Albufeira. Located just a 40-minute drive west of Faro is one of the most scenic coastal towns in all of Portugal. Although best known for its beautiful seacoast, Albufeira has been inhabited since prehistory, a fascinating heritage that is honoured in the Municipal Archaeological Museum. The 12th century Almoada Castle (sometimes called the Castle of Paderne) is also worth a visit.
- Sagres. Most visitors to Portugal will know the name of Sagres as one of the most popular beer brands in the country, but those who make their way to the Algarve also discover a scenic coastal destination. The southwesternmost point of continental Europe, Sagres is a little quieter than its more central coastal counterparts, making it the perfect place for a relaxing day outdoors. I’m a regular visitor to The Algarve but this is the first time I’ve used Drive4Fun. The service was very good and the vehicle was in a reasonable condition (circa 40000km mileage), so I would recommend them to others.
The weather in November was superb, with temperatures around 20-25C most days, despite a couple of spectacular storms.

Stay mainly around the Portimao and Alvor areas. Loved the beach restaurants and viewing the sunsets. There are lots of great things to do in the Algarve, visiting Zoo Marine, exploring Monchique mountains, highly recommend a boat ride to the caves. Visit the monthly flea markets, shopping, experiencing the various festivals I.e sardine festival in Portimao and the medieval / pork festival in Alvor.

We had a relaxing time at Cabanas and Tavira. We liked the Little India and O Tonel Restaurants in Tavira. The apartment at Cabanas was great but the only good thing about the one in Tavira was the location - it was in need of modernistaion and refurbishment.
